Born in 1973 in Norway, Rune is a CMAS ** underwater photo instructor and has been photographing under water since 2005. He started photographing after joining his father in the darkroom developing films at the age of 10.

During his career he has participated in different photo exhibitions with both underwater photography and other themes, making some films for norwegian TV2 and publishing photos of underwater rugby in the major Norwegian newspapers.

He represented Norway in the CMAS world championship in the Netherlands in 2015 and will also represent Norway in Mexico this year. Rune has also won the Norwegian national competition in photography with a mix of underwater photography and polar landscapes.
